Launching
Give your coin a name and an image, choose what its holders are paid in, set the tax and how much of it goes to holders, and sign once. The ticker and the description fill themselves in, and you can change either before you sign.
The only cost is the network's launch fee, shown on the form before you sign, plus gas. Under More options you can add an opening buy, lock it and add your links. The opening buy is made in the launch itself, before anyone else can buy, with no launch-second tax.
Holders get paid
Every coin on Velox pays its holders a cut of every trade. The creator sets a tax of 1 to 10%, and at least half of it goes to the coin's holders; the creator keeps the rest. It is fixed at launch and nobody can change it afterwards.
Holders are paid in what the coin is paired with: a coin paired with ETH pays in ETH, a coin paired with NVDA pays in NVDA tokens, a coin paired with GLD (a gold fund) pays in GLD. What comes in is shared out as it is.
How payouts work
Each hour, what a coin's trades paid in is shared among its holders by how much each held and for how long. Holding twice as long earns twice as much. New tokens start earning 15 minutes after they arrive, so buying just before a payout and selling just after earns nothing. When you sell part of what you hold, your newest tokens go first, so what you have held longest keeps earning.
Contracts that hold a coin without being anyone, such as its curve, its pool and Velox's own contracts, are never paid. An hour nobody qualifies for carries its share into the next.
Each hour that brought fees, Velox's bot publishes each holder's running total on chain. It waits an hour before it can be claimed, so a wrong one can be stopped. You can claim whenever you like, one coin or all of them at once on your dashboard, and the bot pays anyone owed more than $5 by itself.
During that hour a guardian wallet can strike the new totals, and Velox can leave out a wallet that farms payouts, for example by trading with itself. Its share since the last published totals then goes to the other holders. Totals already published are never taken back.
Pairs
A coin can trade against ETH or against a tokenised stock or fund such as SPY, NVDA, TSLA or GLD. Buyers pay in ETH either way; for a stock pair, Velox routes the ETH through the stock in the same transaction, and the trade fails rather than give you less than the minimum shown before you sign.
Creator earnings
Creators keep the part of the tax that does not go to holders. It is paid out automatically in the coin's pair, with nothing to claim by hand, and shows on your dashboard.
Limit orders
Pick Limit on any coin's page to sell some or all of your tokens when the market cap reaches a price, or to buy when it drops to one. You do not need to be online when it happens.
Orders are paid from your deposit in Velox's order contract. The deposit stays yours: it can only be used to fill the orders you placed, at the prices you set (anyone may send that fill, and Velox's bot does), and you can cancel an order or withdraw what is not in use at any time on the Orders page.
Creator locks
A creator who makes an opening buy can lock it for 7, 30 or 90 days. The tokens release evenly over that time, and nobody can move them sooner, the creator included. A locked buy shows on the coin's page.
Trading
Buy from anywhere on the site in one tap with the quick-buy buttons, or use the trade console on a coin's page. Every trade is run against the chain first, and you see what you will get before your wallet opens.
While a coin is on its curve, it trades against the curve. Once the curve sells out, it graduates to a pool and keeps trading there, from the same buttons, and keeps paying its holders.
Risk signals
Every coin's page, and the checker for any token on the chain, shows facts read from the chain: what the contract can do, how much the creator and the biggest wallets hold, and whether the creator's buy is locked. They are facts, not a verdict.
Contracts
No contract can be upgraded: a fix would be a new contract, announced in the open. Funds leave a holder pot only through published payout totals, which wait an hour before anything can be claimed against them and can be struck in that hour, and nobody but you can take your deposit out of the order contract.
API
Everything on the site can be read as JSON, by anyone, with no key. Each caller gets a fair share of requests per minute; answers are a second or two fresh at most.
